Polish diplomats reportedly evicted from consulate in St Petersburg, Russia

A claim against the Polish consulate in St Petersburg has been satisfied in full by the St Petersburg and Leningrad Region Arbitration Court, obliging the consulate staff to vacate their premises in the city, Russian state-owned TASS news agency (formerly ITAR-TASS) reported on 3 January.

"The court has resolved to order the collection of R74m (about 1m dollars at the current exchange rate) from the litigant, as well as legal costs, and to order them to vacate the building at the address 5th Sovyetskaya ulitsa, 12/14," judge Darya Anreyeva (surname as published; possibly "Andreyeva") was quoted as saying.
