In January-September this year, Azerbaijan produced a GDP worth 98.1 billion manats ($57.7 billion), or 5.6% more than in the same period last year, reported from the State Statistical Committee.
According to the data, over the past year, value added in the oil and gas sector of the economy decreased by 2.5%, and in the non-oil sector, it increased by 10.1%.
Of this, 52.2% falls on the industry, 7.8% - on trade, repair of vehicles, 6% - on transport and warehousing, 4% - on construction, 5.2% - on agriculture, forestry, and fisheries, 1.3% on information and communication, 1.5% on tourist accommodation and catering, 14.2% on other industries. Net taxes on goods and imports amounted to 7.8% of GDP.
Over the year, the GDP per capita in Azerbaijan increased by 55.3% to 9,749 manats ($5,734).
