Each photograph captures a single moment in time.

But together the 24 images are part of a fascinating project, which aims to provide a running social commentary spanning 24 years.Launched a decade ago by a group of 24 photographers who studied together at Central Saint Martins in London, the idea is simple.Twenty-four photographers documenting the first 24 hours of the first day of each year from 2004 to 2028.Each artist is tasked with capturing a single moment in their allotted hour, to create a unique collection of photographs linked only by time.Every year the photographers' set time moves on an hour, allowing the individuals to compile a personal record of their journey through the 24-year-period.To mark their 11th exhibition, which opened on Saturday, March 1 in London's Soho Square, 24:2014 enlisted world-renowned photographer Antonio Olmos, to curate this year's collection. The Mexican photojournalist, who is based in London, has been honoured with the accolade World Press Photo Award for People in News.He told MailOnline: 'I really enjoyed looking at and curating the work of the 24 photographers.'For 10 years they have documented the passage of time... 2014 is the 11th year and the individual visions coalesce into making an amazing body of work.'Founder of 24photography, Claire Spreadbury, said: 'I am always excited to see how and where people have spent their New Year, the images that Antonio has selected take you on a wonderful journey of our life and times. 'I can’t wait to see them in Soho Square.'Six of the prints were chosen to be auctioned off in aid of Hope and Homes for Children, an international charity working to ensure that all children have the chance to grow up in a loving family. They went under the hammer, raising £2,000 for the charity. The free 24photography exhibition will be on display in Soho Square, off Oxford Street, until March 22.(dailymail.co.uk)ANN.Az
