With the winter transfer window approaching, the rumours are beginning to flow regarding big clubs going after the best players in this moment. We will look at the five rumours that, if were to become reality, would have a huge impact by the end of the season.
5. Marco Reus
The prolific 24 four-year-old German international has become one of the most in-demand players in Europe. Arsenal, Manchester City, and Manchester United are rumoured in search of acquiring his talents for the upcoming winter.
Possibility of Moving
There is some possibility that he will part ways from Borussia Dortmund in January, but it all depends on the sale of teammate Robert Lewandowski. Should Lewandowski leave, it will be hard to believe that Borussia will let go of both their two best players unless big offers are made for both.
4. Juan Mata
Since the return of Jose Mourinho to Stamford Bridge Mata has had very limited opportunities to show his limitless talent and the Spanish international could see himself making a £35 million move to Manchester United
Possibility of Moving
There is a big possibility of him leaving the Bridge this winter window. Whether he stays in the Premier League or not, that is the question, as Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain are also thought to be planning a move for Juan Mata.
3. Luis Suarez
After a whole summer of not knowing his future, Luis Suarez ended up staying at Annfield. However, it seems like it's déjà vu all over again for the Uruguayan after it has emerged that Real Madrid have made an intriguing offer to Liverpool that would see Real Madrid paying Suarez's release clause and exchanging a player in the process.
Possibility of Moving
It is hard to believe that after staying at Anfield and seeing the promising start that both Suarez and Liverpool have had to this campaign that they would be willing to let him go unless a very tempting offer was made.
2. Robert Lewandowski
The Polish striker has been rumored with a move to three of the biggest clubs in Europe: Chelsea, Bayern Munich, and Manchester United. He is also another player that had a summer full of rumours regarding his future, and they have not stopped as the season progresses.
Possibility of Moving
It is almost certain that the Polish striker will be on the move this winter, but the question is where he will end up. A polish newspaper had released a story that his move to Munich was already done, but new rumours say that United are the favorites to seal the deal.
1. Diego Costa
The surprise of the season has been the latest striking addition to the Spanish national team; Diego Costa, who has been rumored with a 30 million pound move to the Emirates Stadium.
Possibility of Moving
I believe that there is a very little chance of him leaving Spain this January. Not only is he having a break-through season, but Atletico de Madrid is having their best season in La Liga for many years and will be reluctant to let him go before the season has finished.
