Acting President of Uzbekistan, Prime Minister Shavkat Mirziyoyev has been nominated as a presidential candidate.
Mirziyoyev was nominated at the congress of the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, RIA Novosti reported.
His candidacy will be presented to the Central Election Commission for approval.
The presidential election in Uzbekistan is scheduled to be held on Dec. 4
