Alhokair officially unveils the first Marks & Spencer store in Azerbaijan

Alhokair Fashion Retail will officially unveil Marks & Spencer’s flagship store in Baku today with its latest Spring Summer 2015 collections. To mark the iconic British clothing retailer’s first store in Azerbaijan, Alhokair will host an exclusive event at the store tonight, where over 200 guests including many of Azerbaijan’s leading celebrities will enjoy a special shopping event with live entertainment.

With spectacular views over the Caspian, Port Baku Mall is the country’s new luxury shopping destination and is home to Marks & Spencer’s new 1,700 square metre store. Here customers are able to shop Marks & Spencer’s extensive range of stylish, exceptional quality fashions across womenswear, menswear, kidswear and lingerie – as well as accessories and footwear products.

To help customers shop the extensive product offer, Marks & Spencer has a range of exclusive, easy to shop clothing sub-brands, each with its own distinct style and design characteristics. For example, in womenswear, Autograph emulates affordable designer quality with exquisite, understated elegance and luxury fabrics, Indigo Collection is the retailer’s authentic fashion denim and casualwear range and Limited Edition includes wearable trends, straight from the runway. In menswear, M&S Collection offers a considered edit of stylish wardrobe essentials with a focus on great quality everyday clothing, whilst Blue Harbour is inspired by classic British style and includes preppy polo shirts.

Each clothing brand is highlighted for customers through unique branding, visual merchandising kit and propping – with outfit suggestions displayed throughout the store to inspire and delight customers.

Jim McNicholas, Alhokair’s Retail Director for Marks & Spencer in the Caucasus and Central Asia region, said: "We’re delighted to officially unveil our new store at Port Baku Mall today. We’ve had a fantastic customer feedback with dresses, lingerie and kids’ clothing proving early favourites. The store’s inspiring design and latest Spring Summer collections highlight Marks & Spencer’s commitment to modern design, unparalleled innovation and exceptional quality and we are looking forward to welcoming even more customers to our store.”

M&S Port Baku, operated by Marks & Spencer’s long term franchise partner Alhokair Fashion Retail, is in line with M&S’s international strategy to work with leading franchise partners and secure prime positions in leading shopping malls. Alhokair currently operates 22 Marks & Spencer stores across Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan, Georgia and Azerbaijan.
