Azeri President Ilham Aliyev has yet to agree to a meeting with Serzh Sargsyan in Sochi this week, a senior government official in Baku said.
"We have not yet made a decision on this," Novruz Mammadov, deputy head of the presidential administration, said, according to commercial ANS television channel.
Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan had earlier said the presidents would meet in Sochi at the initiative of President Vladimir Putin.
“We hope that serious arrangements will be reached during the meeting,” he said.
