Russian troops are exhausted in Bakhmut and cannot fight, said Serhiy Cherevaty, the spokesman for the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

He said that there were 40 clashes in Bakhmut in the last day alone:

"As a result, 190 Russian servicemen were killed, 244 were wounded, and 15 were captured. 3 enemy tanks, 1 infantry fighting vehicle, 3 howitzers, 5 ammunition depots were destroyed. This shows that our defense operation is going well."
