Armenia faces risk of coronavirus test shortage

Armenia faces the risk of a shortage of coronavirus tests due to the introduction of new restrictive measures in this country as part of the fight against COVID-19, Report informs, citing Sputnik Armenia.

According to the new rules, working citizens are required to be vaccinated or submit PCR test results twice a month. As a result, the flow of people wishing to take it has increased dramatically.

"One of the importers said that there is a shortage already now, and the price for the tests may rise again to 20,000 drams (about $50). It's hard to say whether the government will take part in the problem solving since vaccination is a bigger priority for them," the information reads.
