Armenia and Iran plan to expand cooperation in the aviation sector, according to the press service of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of Armenia, reported from Armenian media.

For this purpose, the Armenian delegation will visit Tehran to study Iran's experience in this area. A corresponding agreement was reached between Minister of Armenia’s Territorial Administration and Infrastructures Gnel Sanosyan and Head of Iran’s Civil Aviation Organization Mohammad Mohammadi-Bakhsh.

The date of the visit has not been specified.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the possibilities of aircraft maintenance, retraining of specialists, increasing the number of flights between the two countries, as well as the development of transit flights.
