Armenia will open an embassy in Cyprus, reported from Sputnik-Armenia.

A corresponding resolution was adopted at a meeting of the Armenian government on Thursday.

Now Armenia is represented in Cyprus via its embassy in Athens, and Cyprus is represented in Armenia via its embassy in Moscow.

Earlier, on March 14, the government of Cyprus made a similar decision, notifying the Armenian side of its readiness to open a diplomatic mission in Yerevan. This was stated by the head of the Cypriot Foreign Ministry, Konstantinos Kombos, during his official visit to Armenia.
