Iran and Russia do not care about the Armenian government, they defend their interests.

The newspaper Past wrote this in its article about the consulate that Iran will open in Gafan, and Russia will open in Zangazur.

The newspaper says a clear combination of mutual interests is extremely important here: "From this point of view, at least according to initial impressions, acceptance of Syunik (Zangazur) as a 'red line' is the main issue."

Past noted that, on the other hand, specific steps are being taken to establish certain control over possible communications, and exclude the possibility of influence and weakening of positions.
