A group of Armenian military servicemen, in a total of 83 people, arrived in Syria, informs Spokesperson for the Armenian Defence Ministry Artsrun Hovhannisyan, reports Sputnik Armenia.
According to the information, Armenian specialists will carry out activities related to humanitarian de-mining, mine awareness of the population, provision of medical assistance in Aleppo, exclusively outside the zone of combat operations.
The sending of Armenian specialists to Syria is carried out with the support of the Russian side.
