Audrey Hepburn’s lookalike granddaughter, Emma Ferrer, makes her modelling debut on the cover of American Harper’s Bazaar’s September issue.

Ferrer is the daughter of Sean Hepburn Ferrer, the first son of Audrey Hepburn and actor Mel Ferrer. She has stayed out of the spotlight all her life, but makes her first appearance as the cover star of the high-end glossy magazine. The 20-year-old revives the iconic style of Hepburn as she embodies her look and spirit. She emulates her grandmother’s famous style in looks by Lanvin, Carolina Herrera, Ralph Lauren, Tods and Maxmara with jewellery from Tiffany & Co.The images were shot by photographer Michael Avedon. Avedon too boasts famous grandparents; he is the grandson of legendary fashion photographer Richard Avedon, who photographed Audrey Hepburn endless times in the Fifties. The late actress and the fashion photographer were so closed that the character Dick Avery in one of Hepburn’s popular films, Funny Face, was based on Avedon.Ferrer never met her grandmother, as she was born in 1993, a year after Hepburn died of cancer. She told Harper’s Bazaar: “The first images I have of her are, interestingly enough, when she was quite young.“I remember seeing a photo of her jumping on a trampoline - I believe this was before I understood that she was famous. But I remember thinking that she looked like a friend I wish I could have had."She tells the publication that she has some items from her grandmother that she still wears, like “her cashmere turtlenecks” and “a white antique stuffed teddy bear”.She also admits that although she hasn’t seen all of Hepburn’s films, she enjoyed Breakfast at Tiffany's "the same way any young girl would" and that her favourite is Funny Face.(independent.co.uk)Bakudaily.Az
