The State Veterinary Control Service under Azerbaijan's Ministry of Agriculture is to start the next monitoring on November 2 considering the autumn migration of birds.
According to News.Az, the statement came from sources in the State Veterinary Control Service.
"It is planned to hold a monitoring in temporary habitats of migrating birds in national parks, reserves in the coastline zone in Absheron, Shabran, Salyan, Lankaran and Aghjabadi regions," the service said.
It was also noted that the current epizootic situation related to avian flu virus is stable in the country. Together with the respective structures the State Service takes necessary measures to preserve this stability.
The results of the monitoring will be made public on November 13.
