Azerbaijan Airlines (Azal) has added Barcelona to its network in Western Europe with the introduction on Saturday 23 May of weekly flights from Baku.
No other carrier serves this 3,978-kilometre route, which is flown by the airline’s A319s.
This becomes the airline’s sixth destination in the EU following Berlin, London, Milan, Paris and Rome. Of these, London and Paris are best served with five weekly flights each this summer.
