Azerbaijan exported 33,000 tons of apples to Russia in 2014, becoming the largest apple exporter to Russia after Serbia and China, APK-Inform reported.
Poland and Moldova had been the main apple suppliers to Russia before it imposed a ban on their products. Experts say Azerbaijan has good chances of boosting apple exports to Russia.
