Azerbaijan, Georgia expand cooperation in cyber security

A group of experts from the Electronic Security Center under the Azerbaijani Ministry of Communications and High Technologies (MCHT) visited the Cyber Security Center of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia on July 7-18, Azartac reported.

The delegation led by the director of the Electronic Security Center, Faig Farmanov, met with representatives from the Data Exchange Agency of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia.

The aim of the visit was to expand cooperation between Georgia and Azerbaijan in the field of cyber security and exchange of experience.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the possibilities of mutual cooperation in the field of improving cyber security in the region. Besides, the Azerbaijani delegation familiarized themselves with the legislative and regulatory acts of Georgia in the field of cyber security.

According to Faig Farmanov, the meeting was fruitful for Azerbaijan in terms of enhancing international cooperation in the field of cyber security.
