The Azerbaijani journal IRS, which focuses on the Central Asian country's heritage and culture, has been published in Vietnamese for the first time.
The quarterly's first edition was presented in Ha Noi on Thursday.
The journal is aimed at acquainting readers with the past and present of Azerbaijan, along with its economical and cultural life, in order to hand over this heritage to future generations.
"We want to introduce Azerbaijan's culture, history, heritage and art to international readers through different languages," said Musa Marjanli, editor-in-chief of the journal in Viet Nam.
The first version of IRS, called Naslediya, was published in Moscow in 2000 in 13 languages including Chinese, Japanese, Indonesian, German and French.
On the same day, an exhibition entitled Heritage of Azerbaijan was kicked off at the National Museum of History, 1 Pham Ngu Lao Street, Ha No.
More than 60 photos of ancient jewellery, architecture, traditional musical instruments and the landscape of Azerbaijan, including the Absheron and Gobustan national parks, ancient structures and the modernity of Baku City, are on display.
