Azerbaijan mulls banning masks in demonstrations

PAYLAŞ

Azerbaijan’s Milli Maclis, or parliament, will look into a draft law banning masks during demonstrations.

The draft will be submitted to parliament next year, according to APA news agency.

Milli Maclis amended law last year to increase penalty for participation in unsanctioned demonstrations and expanded criminal defamation to online media.
