The defense ministries of Azerbaijan and Pakistan met in Islamabad to lay out the priorities of military cooperation between the two countries, said Dasqin Sikarov, Azerbaijan's ambassador to Pakistan.
The event was held within the framework of the fifth meeting of the working group of the Azerbaijani and Pakistani defense ministries.
The Azerbaijani delegation was led by head of the International Cooperation Department under the Defense Ministry, Major General Ramiz Najafov.
Sikarov said a number of agreements are to be signed following talks.
The teo countries signed a defense agreement in 2013.
