Georgia imported some 250,990 tons of oil and oil products in January-November 2013 which amounted to $233.84 million, according to a report of GruzStat- the Georgian National Statistical Service, Trend reported.In total, about $841.2 million worth oil products were imported by Georgia in January-November 2013. Thus, Azerbaijan provides around 27.8 percent of the country's import in this category.According to the report, taking an annual calculation, the volume of oil and oil products imported by Georgia from Azerbaijan has decreased 23.55 percent or 59,010 tons. By comparison, Georgia imported around 305.86 million worth of 310,000 tons of oil products in January-November 2012.The specific weight of oil and oil products amounted to 42.93 percent in the total volume of imports from Azerbaijan during the reported period.Georgia imported some $544.74 million worth of products from Azerbaijan in January-November 2013. According to the report, the volume of imports from Azerbaijan to Georgia decreased 4.75 percent during the reported period compared to the same period of 2012. For comparison, Georgia imported around $571.88 million worth of products from Azerbaijan in January-November 2012.
