Azerbaijan resumes gas exports to Turkey

Azerbaijan has resumed the delivery of natural gas to Turkey from its Shah Deniz deposit, said Tamam Bayatli, BP spokeswoman in Baku.

The exports were interrupted following technical problems at the Sangachal terminal on Friday.

Azerbaijan provides Turkey with 18.3 million cubic meters of gas a day. The country also exports the fuel to Georgia and Russia.
