"Over 20 invaders have been killed recently, within a short period of time. Dozens have been wounded," Hasanov told reserve officers participating in military exercises.

He said that Azerbaijan too had suffered losses.

The minister promised to avenge the death of Azerbaijani soldiers "ten-fold" and said "that would be so from now on."

Azerbaijan's armed forces are capable of driving the enemy away from the occupied territory, Hasanov said.
