Azerbaijan sends note to France, summons charge d'affaires

On November 16, the charge d'affaires of France in Azerbaijan Julien Le Lan was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and was presented a note of protest regarding the French Senate's resolution against Azerbaijan, reported from the Foreign Ministry.
During the meeting, the French diplomat was informed of Azerbaijan's strong rejection of the resolution adopted by the French Senate, which contains completely untrue, false and slanderous provisions.
The ministry noted that the resolution is clearly provocative and that France, which claims to contribute to the peace process, has once again clearly demonstrated its pro-Armenian, biased and one-sided position.
