Azerbaijan’s state oil fund (SOFAZ) says its assets declined 5 percent in the first half of 2015 to $35.78 billion from a year earlier.
The fund had revenue of 4.05 billion manat from the sale of crude oil and natural gas during the period. It spent 4.04 billion manat, including 3.56 billion manat transferred to the national budget.
Just over 307 million manat was spent to finance Azerbaijan’s share of the South Gas Corridor projects.
Almost 90 million manat allocated for construction of new houses for people displaced as a result of the Armenian occupation of Azerbaijani territory.
