The 30th European rhythmic gymnastics championships will kick off on Friday as the first trial of the 2015 European Games.
"The qualified conditions have been created for the athletes and the Olympic Village and the National Gymnastic Arena have been perfectly organized," European Union of Gymnastics President Georges Guelzec said Thursday at the press conference.
"It will be our first trial, our first test for the upcoming Baku 2015 European Games," he added.
The rhythmic gymnastics European championships, which run from June 13 to June 15 at the National gymnastics arena of Baku, will feature some 258 gymnasts from 33 countries competing in nine disciplines.
