Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR will resume crude oil exports via the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline on July 22, the company’s president Rovnaq Abdullayev said.
SOCAR last month suspended oil deliveries via the pipeline as it closed down refineries for repairs, Abdullayev told reporters in Baku.
The company plans to export 1.5 million tons of oil through the link this year, he said.
Azerbaijan uses two other pipelines – Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan and Baku-Supsa – and rail to export oil.
Abdullayev said all three pipelines are up and running.
