Azerbaijani army positions come under intensive fire

Armenian armed units have shattered the ceasefire a total of 125 times, using mortar launchers and large-caliber machine guns

Armenian armed forces continue violating the ceasefire regime with Azerbaijan.
 
Armenian armed units have violated the ceasefire regime a total of 125 times using 60-mm mortar launchers in different directions along the contact line throughout the day, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said on Aug. 28. 
 
The adversary fired at Azerbaijani positions in Aghstafa’s Kohneqishlaq and Gazakh’s Ashaghi Eskipara villages from their positions in Ijevan’s Paravakar and Noyemberyan’s Voskepar villages respectively in Armenia. Also, Azerbaijani positions in the unnamed highlands of Gadabay were fired at from Armenian positions in the nameless uplands of Krasnoselsk region.  
 
Elsewhere along the contact line, Azerbaijani positions came under fire from the positions near the Tapgaragoyunlu and Gulustan villages of Goranboy, Chilaburt, Goyarkh, and Chayli villages of Terter, Chiraqli, Kengerli, Yusifjanli, Shuraabad, Garagashli, Merzili, Shirvanli, Javahirli, and Sarijali, and Shikhlar villages of Aghdam, Kuropatkino village of Khojavand, Gorgan, Garakhanbeyli, Horadiz, and Ashagi Seyidahmadli villages of Fuzuli, and in the nameless uplands of Goranboy, Khojavand, Fuzuli and Jabrayil.
  
The enemy was silenced by retaliatory fire.
