Young athletes shared the mat with athletes from Russia and Kazakhstan. The traditional competition was held in the resort town of Anapa. The wrestlers from Ganja participated as part of the Azerbaijani team, News.az reports. The tournament was attended by six tatami masters from Ganja. Two of them won medals.The representative of the Ganja branch of the National Sports Center «Təhsil» Aykhan Jafarov, acting in the category 90 + kg and Vilayat Bayramov from Children and Youth Sports School №1 performing in the weight category of 42 kg won bronze medals.Aykhan Jafarov:"I had four meetings. I lost in the final performance. Armenians won in the fight for third place. "The medal which was won in Anapa is not the first success of Aykhan Jafarov. The ward of Zamig Kazymov previously won a silver medal in an international competition which was held in Iran.Zamig Kazymov:"Aykhan Jafarov is a promising athlete. He previously performed successfully in various tournaments. A victory over the Armenian man in this tournament brought a lot of joy to us."Athletes from the 'Təhsil' center still have a few performances ahead on the major tournaments. Azerbaijan’s superiority in such tournaments is very important.
