Azerbaijani national team's karateka Irina Zaretska has won the international tournament in Plzen, Czech Republic, Report informs.
The Ukrainian legionnaire defeated her opponents in the absolute weight category, in addition to the weight category of 68 kg.

Veronika Gashnikova, a member of the Black Tiger club, won a gold medal in the 47-kg event.

Karate fighters competed in the international tournament under the leadership of the head coach of the women's national team Denis Morozov.

Irina Zaretska earlier won a silver medal at the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics.
