President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has issued an order on state support to the development of sericulture.

APA reports subsidy will be allocated to those who engage in cocoon production for each kilogram of fresh cocoons received by enterprises of cocoon processing and silk production.
 
The Cabinet of Ministers is to approve the amount and allocation rule of subsidy agreeing with the president of Azerbaijan within two months.
