Azerbaijani swimmers won 1 silver and 4 gold medals at the international junior tournament held in Kaposvar, Hungary, reported from the press service of the Azerbaijan Swimming Federation.

Suleyman Ismayilzada climbed to the top of the podium in two categories.

He set a new record among Azerbaijani teenagers with 721 points (16:10.99) in the 1500-meter freestyle and 695 points (04:08.42) in the 400-meter freestyle.

Another swimmer, Ogtay Huseynov, won 4:49.32 in the 400-meter medley. He won the silver medal in the 400-meter freestyle (4:13.92).

Said Hamidov claimed another gold for Azerbaijan. He earned victory in the 400-meter freestyle with a time of 4:19.64.
The tournament will continue today.
