Azerbaijan’s State Border Service (SBS) has started large-scale tactical drills at its Aggol base, SBS said on its website.
The drills involving rapid response units and aircraft are aimed at improving skills to identify and destroy enemy army units, as well as terrorist and sabotage groups that violate Azerbaijan’s state border, SBS said.
Helicopters will open fire using guided and unguided missiles while anti-aircraft will shoot down mock enemy targets.
The drills will continue until May 21.
