Azerbaijan’s economy expanded by 3.3 percent year on year in the first ten months of 2015, up from a 2.8 percent growth reported a year earlier, the State Statistics Committee said.
The non-oil economy was the main driver of the growth, rising by 5.2 percent, the committee said on its website.
Industrial production rose by 2.2 percent while agriculture expanded by 6.7 percent.
Consumer prices grew by 3.7 percent.
Azerbaijan targets single-digit inflation this year despite a 34-percent devaluation of the national currency in February.
The economy is expected to grow by 3.3 percent.
