According to News.Az, president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, chairman of the Milli Majlis working group on interparliamentary relations Azerbaijan-France Mehriban Aliyeva expressed her satisfaction with the development of ties in humanitarian sphere between the two countries over the past years.

Speaking about the joint projects in education, culture and science, Mehriban Aliyeva noted that all these steps will promote the strengthening of friendly relations between Azerbaijan and France.

The first lady also noted that the French university will be created in Azerbaijan on the initiative of the president of Azerbaijan and president of France, and definite steps have already been taken on this direction.

President of the Strasbourg University Alain Beretz voiced confidence that his visit to Azerbaijan will contribute to implementation of this project.

Expressing gratitude for the meeting, Alain Beretz spoke about the importance of the project of creating French universities in Azerbaijan.
