Azerbaijan’s gross domestic product expanded 5.7 percent in the first 11 months of the year, according to a report on the State Statistics Committee website.Economic growth accelerated in the January-November period from a year earlier, when GDP was up 1.2 percent, it said. The non-oil economy grew 9.5 percent. Azerbaijan pumped 39.5 million tons of crude oil and 16.2 billion cubic meters of marketable natural gas in January through November. That compares with 39.4 million tons of oil and 15.7 billion cubic meters of gas produced a year earlier, the committee said.Industrial production was up by 1.7 percent and agriculture grew 4.8 percent, it said.
The consumer price inflation was up by 2.3 percent, it said.
