Azerbaijan’s State Oil Fund (Sofaz) offered $200 million to local lenders in an auction organized Monday, the fund said.
Of the total, $193.9 million was sold to 28 banks, Sofaz said.
The fund, which buys manat to transfer to the state budget, sold $400 million to local banks last week.
It pledged to continue selling foreign currencies in auctions throughout the year.
