The main goal of the drills was to check combat preparedness of the units, carry out practical tasks, and take quick decisions in hard conditions, the report said quoting the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry.
The personnel familiarised themselves with special tools, chemical lookout points, and equipment protecting from mass destruction weapons, the report added.
In another report on 4 June, APA said that tactical training drills of special task police and the forces of the Interior Troops were held outside the Russian embassy in Baku.
The deputy chief of the Interior Ministry's press service, Ehsan Zahidov, told APA that officers of the Interior Ministry held tactical drills outside the Russian embassy in Azerbaijan in order to ensure protection of representatives of embassies in Azerbaijan and prevent any incidents in the future.
