Azeri defense minister gets two new deputies

Two new deputy defense ministers of Azerbaijan have been appointed, military sources told APA.

Major General Gorkhmaz Garayev and Lieutenant General Karam Mustafayev have been appointed as deputy defense ministers of Azerbaijan. At the same time, Gorkhmaz Garayev will hold the post of Chief of Material-Technical Provision Department and Karam Mustafayev the post of Commander of the Army Special Forces. At present, there are 5 deputy defense ministers: Colonel-General Nejmeddin Sadigov - the first Deputy Defense Minister, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces; Lieutenant General Chingiz Mammadov – Deputy Defense Minister; Major General Ramiz Tahirov – Deputy Defense Minister, Commander of Air Defense Force; Major General Gorkhmaz Garayev – Deputy Defense Minister, Chief of Material-Technical Provision Department and Lieutenant General Karam Mustafayev, Deputy Defense Minister, Commander of the Army Special Forces. Some media outlets have recently reported that Gorkhmaz Garayev will be dismissed.ANN.Az
