Welcoming Sheikha Lubna and her accompanying delegation, the Azeri president confirmed the strong bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and the UAE as well as the robust partnership to enhance fields of mutual interest thanks to the wise leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his continued support to develop these ties.
On her part, Sheikha Lubna extended thanks to the President of Azerbaijan for the warm welcome. She also conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, for further development and welfare of Azerbaijan in various fields.
Sheikha Lubna extended thanks to Aliyev for facilitating the entry of UAE citizens to Azerbaijan without a prior visa, which played a significant role in increasing the number of Emirati tourists to the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The minister pointed out a number of investment opportunities between the two friendly countries in the light of the available potential and capabilities of both sides. She said that this potential could translate investment opportunities into reality for the benefit of the two countries, especially in the tourism, agriculture and air transportation sectors, and other vital areas of mutual interest.
Among those who attended the meeting were Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Media Centre (SMC), and other officials. Dashgin Shikarov, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the UAE also attended the meeting from the Azeri side.
