The Baku - Mineralnye Vody flight, which departed from Heydar Aliyev Airport in the morning, returned to Baku, reported from AZAL.

The aircraft commander made the decision to turn back immediately after receiving a NOTAM notification about the closure of airspace over Makhachkala.

The plane landed safely at Heydar Aliyev International Airport at 10:13 local time.

AZAL also stated that more detailed information about flights to Russia will be provided soon.
