Minister Vladimir Makei thanked Azerbaijan for its constructive approach to the article on Belarus based on international law in the Joint Declaration adopted as a result of the 6th Eastern Partnership Summit.

The ministers also mulled the regional situation and other issues of mutual interest.

Azerbaijan has not joined a paragraph of the declaration regarding Belarus adopted at the 6th Eastern Partnership Summit.
Established in 2009, the European Union's Eastern Partnership program includes Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, and Belarus.
