Bolt rejects Commonwealth criticism claims

Bolt rejects Commonwealth criticism claims
31.07.2014 21:21
Usain Bolt has denied a British newspaper report that he attacked the Commonwealth Games.

The Times is standing by its story which claims the six-time Olympic Champion and world record holder said he was not enjoying his time in Glasgow and the competition had little merit.Bolt has accused the paper of making up lies and for the games’ chief executive, Mike Hooper, the matter ends there.“Bolt has issued a very, very strongly worded retraction – not a retraction, sorry, because he never said it, according to what he’s stating. So therefore I think the matter has really been clarified by the man himself, and I thank him for that. We really do look forward to him running a fantastic race with his team-mates later this week,” said Hooper. The Jamaican is set to compete in Friday’s heats for the 4×100 metres relay.(euronews.com)Bakudaily.az
