The European Union has started using the proceeds from frozen Russian assets. Within this framework, funds have already been sent to Ukraine and the EU countries that support it, Josep Borrell, the EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, told reporters before the informal meeting of EU foreign ministers in Brussels.
"We will provide Ukraine with more military equipment at the expense of these funds. The main thing is that for the first time, we directly finance the Ukrainian industry. 1.4 billion euros have already been sent,” Borrell said.
