Borrell says Orban doesn't represent EU during Georgia visit

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, during his upcoming visit to Georgia on October 28-29, is not acting as a representative of the European Union, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell said in an interview with Spanish radio station RNE, reported from TASS.

He noted that Orban "is heading to Georgia today [...], undoubtedly to demonstrate his support for the Georgian government."

"Whatever Orban says during his visit, he does not represent the European Union," Borrell said.

The press service of the Georgian government announced that Orban will make an official visit to the country on October 28.
