A BP-led group developing the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli block of fields in the Caspian Sea last year spent about $772 million in operating expenditure and $2,833 million in capital expenditure.
That compares with about $725 million spent the year before in operating expenditure and $2,495 million in capital expenditure, according to BP data.
In 2014 BP expects to spend $1,052 million in operating expenditure and $2,068 million in capital expenditure on ACG activities.
ACG partners include Socar, Chevron, ExxonMobil, Statoil, Turkiye Petrolleri, Itochu and ONGC Videsh.
