The price of April futures for Brent on the London ICE Futures exchange amounted to $82.81 per barrel, which is 5 cents lower than the closing price of the previous session.
On February 15, these contracts increased in price by $1.26 (1.5%) to $82.86 per barrel.
Quotes of WTI oil futures for March in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) increased by 8 cents to $78.11 per barrel.
At the end of the last session, they rose in price by $1.39 (1.8%) to $78.03 per barrel.
Since the beginning of the week, Brent has risen in price by 0.8%, and WTI has grown by about 1.5% due to fears of disruptions in fuel supplies from the Middle East. At the same time, growth is constrained by data on a jump in US oil reserves by more than 12 million barrels.
