The international prize Caspian Energy Award is presented at the conclusion of the internet-poll which is held in 50 countries of the world. The prize is awarded to political figures, state officials and heads of diplomatic representations, government-owned and private companies for contribution to the economic development of the Caspian-Black Sea and Baltic region states. 

The international prize Caspian Energy Award is held under support of the Caspian European Club and Caspian Energy International Media Group. 

Addressing the ceremony, Academician Ziyad Samadzade, Head of the Committee for Economic Policy of Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, emphasized the actuality of speeches delivered at the Caspian Energy Forum and aimed at maintaining economic power of the state of Azerbaijan. 

Businessmen who addressed the Caspian Energy Forum have once again emphasized that they work for boosting the economy and expressed readiness for getting actively engaged in state programs determined by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. A business-to-government dialogue was held at the Caspian Energy Forum. The Caspian Energy Forum has once again proved that the program of development of Azerbaijan is the program aimed at future and shall promote the prosperity of the Azerbaijani people. 

Iltimas Mammadov, Deputy Minister of Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan, emphasized the significance of Caspian Energy Forum and Caspian Energy Award. "Pressing issues of economic development, achievements and problems that are of interest to the business were discussed at the forum”, Iltimas Mammadov emphasized. According to him, Caspian European Club has managed to create a perfect bridge between the state and business. 

Shahin Bagirov, Deputy Head of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, noted that the State Customs Committee is closely cooperating with business representatives via the Caspian European Club. "The business-to-government dialogue is contributing to the development of the Azerbaijani economy”, Shahin Bagirov noted.  

Academician Khoshbakht Yusifzade, First Vice President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) on Geology, Geophysics and Development of Fields, emphasized Caspian European Club’s major role in developing oil industry of Azerbaijan. 

"You managed to carry out a big work on informing the world community about achievements gained by Azerbaijan in the oil-gas sphere”, Khoshbakht Yusifzade emphasized. 

"Caspian European Club was created in June 2002 under active involvement of Caspian Energy International Media Group and support of large oil-gas companies operating in the Caspian-Black Sea region. President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev has been a Chairman of the Caspian European Club since the creation of the Club”, Chief Executive Officer of the Caspian European Club Telman Aliyev said at the Caspian Energy Award – 2015 ceremony. He also noted that the Club brings together over 5000 companies and organizations from 50 countries of the world. 

According to him, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev is an author of the idea of conducting the Caspian Energy Forum which unites the Caspian, Black Sea and Baltic regions. 

"It is the support of the Chairman of the Caspian European Club, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev that helped the Caspian European Club to become one of large, influential and international organizations operating in the Caspian-Black Sea and Baltic regions”, Telman Aliyev emphasized. 

In conclusion, Telman Aliyev thanked all heads of government agencies, companies and organizations for the support lent to the Club for many years and fruitful cooperation. He also congratulated all nominees who became award winners, wished them further success in their work.
