Cavusoglu, Blinken discuss grain deal, Sweden's NATO accession

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken held telephone conversations on Tuesday and discussed the process of Sweden's accession to NATO and the grain deal, reported from TASS.

"Secretary of State Blinken conveyed congratulations on the re-election of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. During the talks, preparations for the upcoming meeting of the strategic mechanism between Türkiye and the United States, cooperation in the defense industry, the attack on the Turkish House in New York, the process of Sweden's accession to NATO and the Istanbul grain agreement were discussed,” the source said.
